Fed up with Board Prices

My wife and I were looking to purchase Cornhole Boards for a couple months and just could not believe the prices people were asking for them. After several stores, flea markets, people on the side of the road....we decided to make our own. After a quick google search I located your website. I obtained the building dimensions on a Thursday and Friday we were at the store buying supplies. We built White Sox boards with a Dark Blue color that we have not seen around. The boards turned out better than we expected (first attempt) and we have been playing every weekend. We even got my 62 year old mother-in-law to play. Thanks for the Cornhole Dimensions...Cornhole on!

So far I have made two sets and I think they have turned out fine. As you can see from the pictures they are travelers.

I used 1 x 4s for the legs with a 1 3/4" radius on the top end and a 5/16 bolt thru the center. A stretcher is let in for stability. The other picture shows one way of marking the legs for cutting. They can then be cut with the saber saw without removing them.

The storage compartment was added for the bags. The other board will eventually be rigged to store the scoreboard and drink holders. Haven't yet figured out how to include bleachers for the spectators.

Fun Board

Plans are easy to follow. I have made several sets using 3/4" plywood sides and 1/2" top. Then laminate the tops. Made this for a friend at work. She has 2 young boys at home. I hope they have hours of fun with this Cornhole board.
