Completed Boards
First of all, I would like to say thanks for providing these cornhole board plans. They were very easy to follow and the boards turned out great. I plan on using these at tailgate parties when I attend Panthers home games and for cookouts with my friends.
The basic construction was completed in about 3 1/2 hours. I made a couple of modifications such as folding legs for easier storage and carry handles for transporting. I also plan on adding lights for night play.
Next, the boards were hand painted to match the Panther's home and away jerseys. This took roughly 6 hours and was done over a 3 day period, to allow plenty of time to dry.
Day 1 the boards were primed, on day 2 the backgrounds were painted and day 3 the smaller strips were done.
They were completed just in time for Thanksgiving and the family had a great time playing cornhole. Several family members had never played and now want to build sets of their on. I gave them the SC Cornhole Games site and hope to see their boards on here soon.
Thanks again...

I used your plans for building my set of cornhole boards and they have turned out great. Your plans were so easy to read and they were right to the point.
I searched on your site for painting tips and found some very useful information.
Just like your bags, the plans were the best on the web. Thanks so much for being such a great resource on this topic.
Thanks,
Eric Anderson

Excellent product, service, quick shipping

I ordered a set of Corn hole Bags from this site on a Friday, received them on Tuesday-not too many people ship that fast, nor do they provide a tracking number as this company did. Excellent quality, great price (cheapest I found on the net). My family and I are excited to join the ranks of bean bags players! Thanks for making it easy for us!

Virginia Tech Boards

This was my first attempt at making boards for Corn hole. I started out by buying 2x4 1/2" pre-cut plywood from home depot. I cut the 2x4's to make the bases and attached the -plywood with 3" deck screws. the I cut the legs and for a sturdier set of boards I attached them with the 3" screws as well.. I then used wood putty to fill in the counter sunk screws. once this was done I sanded the entire board. Once this was done I added 5 coats of mildew resistant white primer. After that I tape off the white and added 5 coats of each color to finish the painting of the boards between each coat of paint I sanded the top of the boards to make sure the where smooth. I then applied the VT decals.

Waiting for "SPRING"
by Steve
(Manchester, Md. USA)
I was watching the news this past weekend, Feb 2009, and the groundhog came out and said there is only 6 more weeks of winter. I can hardly wait!!!
Soon it will be time to get my cornhole boards out for our spring time BBQs.
Introducing the game of cornhole to all my friends and relatives was my pleasure. Most of them have either built or purchased their own cornhole boards. So no matter where we BBQ this spring or summer, the boards will be well used.

Red Wings Winter Classic Boards
I just completed this set of boards with the Red Wings Winter Classic Logo. They came out great! I'm OK doing the woodworking and the paint scheme, but I can't sew one bit. That's where you guys came in. I ordered Cornhole Beanbags on a Tuesday night and they were on my doorstep on Friday. I was so impressed I ordered eight more bags to replace some old ones I had cobbled together with fishing line. Again, it only took 3 days to get my bags with no premium shipping costs! Proving it wasn't a fluke how quickly my orders were filled.
Thanks for the great experience! I will definitely recommend SC Cornhole Games to anyone playing cornhole.
