Cornhole in the heart of Boston

 

A friend of mine from Wisconsin introduced me to the game. A week later I built a set of boards and waited impatiently for my all-weather bags. (My friend has a set of original corn-filled bags that had gotten ruined tailgating.)

 

I ordered 2 set of bags, one to complete my game set and one to replace the ruined set.

 

This simple Cornhole Bags has brought many people together to enjoy the summer. My friend lives in downtown Boston and even though he's far from rural Wisconsin where he grew up, he has brought the tradition to many people that have never heard of the game! I look at it as bringing a little country into the city. Check out the views from the roof deck.

 

I also think that this game and the companies that are providing the equipment and info are helping America in this down turned economy. How? $25 for a simple set of bags gets four people up and outside. They're not buying $500 video games that aren't made here. They are enjoying each others' company in a simple, wholesome game.
