Q-Why
should I purchase from SC Cornhole?
A-Outside of bags/boards made for mass consumption i.e. sets you can
purchase in a big box store, we believe we are the largest cornhole
producer on the internet. In 2007 alone, we sold over 70k
bags and literally thousands of boards, most shipped within 24 hours.
Our bags are made with an industrial serge machine and made
to withstand the toughest terrain. Our boards are
professionally made and we use only the finest materials. And
to top it all off, we are available for both pre and post sale
questions.
Q-Can I return my bags or boards?
A-There are no returns on cornhole board purchases at any time. All
sales are final. Cornhole bags may be returned withing 30 days of
PURCHASE if the bag has torn at the seam. Gashes, break in the fabric,
cuts, or normal wear and tear are not covered under the replacement
policy. All cornhole bags must be mailed back in order to qualifiy for
replacements. We offer one replacement per set/per purchase. The
customer is responsible for the shipping costs.
Q-Do you allow pickups on orders?
A-Yes, we do allow pickups for local customers. We ask that
you place the order through the website and then select "Pickup" option
from the dropdown menu. This will not charge you for shipping
when you place your order. When we receive your order we will
then contact you and arrange a time for a pickup. Typically,
you can pickup orders right away but we don't want you wasting a trip
down to find out we are out of a particular bag color.
Q-How much do your cornhole bags weigh?
A-Our bags weigh between 13-16 ounces. We aim to get our bags as close
to 1 pound without overstuffing the bag. Since the size of the cornhole
bag is extremely important (i.e. you can't have your bags larger than
6"x6" or risk the bag not being able to fit in the hole), we put as
much corn into the bag without overstuffing it. A bag that is
overstuffed will often result in a break which is what we try to avoid.
Q-What are your cornhole bags made of? What are they filled with?
A-Our bags are made with high quality canvas material. The canvas can
be either 10 or 12 ounce canvas and that depends on the color that you
choose. We find that either canvas plays exceptionally well and will
hold up to any type of terrain. The bags are filled with whole feed
corn.
Q-How do the weather resistant bags differ from the corn filled bags?
A-Our weather resistant bags are meant for customers who want to avoid
having issues if the bags get wet or if they've had past problems with
critters getting into the bags for the corn. The weather
resistant bags are exactly the same material, size, and weight of the
corn-filled bags. The only difference is that they are filled
with a plastic filling.
Q-Don't you need the dust that the corn-filled bags produce?
A-A lot of cornhole dealers will say the 'dust is a must' when it comes
to corn-filled bags. They claim that a resin is released onto
the board when the bag hits the board and that is essential for game
play. I've played with both kinds of bags and I can't tell a
difference between the two. If you are sold on that, then we
encourage you to go with the corn-filled bags. But in our
experience, the dust makes little if any difference when it comes to
actual game play.
.Q-What payment options do i have if I pick up my order?
A-In the store we only accept cash, check and Visa/Mastercard credit card payments, however you can prepay on
the website and then pickup your order if you choose to pay with a
Discover or American Express credit card.
Q-What's your warranty on your cornhole bags?
A-We offer a 30 day warranty on all bags purchased through our store.
See above for return policy. Any unfilled bags do not come with any guarantee.
Q-Do you offer cornhole bags with team logos or cornhole boards with
painted logos?
A-Since we are not officially licensed to sell NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, or
NCAA products, we do not offer them for sale in our store.
Typically, cornhole bags made out of that material will not hold up to
play on rougher terrain.
Q-Where are you located? What is your phone number?
A-We're located at 18500 Spring Creek Drive, Tinley Park, IL.
Our phone number is 708-429-6700, ask to speak with Tom.
Q-Can I stop in to purchase?
A-We typically have all models of Cornhole Sets in stock and ready to go, but
since this is our busy time, we may be out of a certain colors of
bags. If you have no preference of bag color, then we should
have bags/boards available for purchase should you choose to stop
in.
Q-How quickly will my order ship?
A-Orders TYPICALLY ship out with 1 business day, however there are
certain cases where we are backordered for certain color
bags. When this happens we will hold your order until that
color becomes available. If you don't have a preference, then
please indicate on your order form and we will ship your order out of
the available colors.
