 Cornhole in the Shenandoah Valley

by Chuck
(Virginia)

The three games that are popular in my area of Virginia include Washer Toss (redneck horse shoes), Ladder Ball, and Cornhole. Last summer we started playing cornhole on a set of plastic boards at a friend's house. It didn't take long and we were hooked on the game while desiring a higher quality cornhole set-up.

Being particular, we decided it was time to build a set out of high quality wood materials. We built a set from birch and I'm currently working on a set made from oak plywood.

The fad of playing ladder ball and washer toss has come and gone, but we have found the game of cornhole has kept our interests peaked.

I found the www.cornhole-game.org website via my pursuit of quality cornhole bags to go with our newly built cornhole boards.

From reviews, it appears corn-hole-game.org offers a great, durable product with an assortment of colors and fill materials to suit the needs of most, if not all, enthusiasts. I will be purchasing several sets of bags upon completion of this review and expect nothing but excellent service and products enjoyed by so many cornhole enthusiasts before me.

Thanks for providing an informative website and high quality products at competitive prices.

Joining in the fun!

I wish that I could remember the first time that I even saw a game of cornhole being played. At first I didn't even know that it was called cornhole, I simply thought that it was called "bags".

Now it seems to be a staple at EVERY backyard party, picnic, tailgate and bar-b-que. From the plain colored boards to the boards decorated with stripes, favorite team logos, ect....it seems like if your not playing bags, YOU'RE NOT COOL!

That being stated, I feel like ours is the only family I know that doesn't have a cornhole set of our own and I am looking to change that ASAP!!! I love the fact that it is a game for all ages and skill levels. Anyone and everyone can play, all you need are cornhole sets, a gathering place and a group of people who are ready to laugh and have lots of fun.

Yes, times are tough but laughs are free and my family is ready for the endless supply of laughs and good times that one simple game of cornhole can provide. So bring on the summer, family, good friends, good laughs, good times....BRING ON A GOOD GAME OF CORNHOLE!
