Made these boards in no time!

So after searching for proper dimensions on the internet, I chose the set from this website because of the great detail.

The experience started at Home Depot. As we searched for the first large sheet of wood (Can't remember exact size, made these 4 months ago) we noticed that most of the wood was in terrible, terrible shape. Instead of buying the larger sheets of board, we ended up buying some 2'x4' sheets of particle board that were already cut to size. We picked up the rest of the wood and let an employee cut it to size.

Next stop was Walmart to pick up supplies for the Cornhole Bags. In the end this turned out to be a huge mistake, because none of us knew how to sew. Took far longer for us to sew the bags than to make the boards. Recently, I ended up buying some from this website, (the all-weather variety) and they are terrific quality. They are seen in the picture.

And so, construction of the boards began. We picked up a jigsaw from Home Depot, not only did it help immensely, it was fun to use. Between 2 guys, a jigsaw, 2 drills, we had these boards completed in less than 30 minutes. Most of the time was spent double checking directions. We ended up using the design with the fixed piece of wood in the back. We did for stability. I've played on other boards, most of them having swing-up rear supports. When a bag hit the board, the board would slightly jump and move around. I found that with the fixed rear board, you get much less movement/jostling.

The boards are unpainted for now. Before the next college football season begins these boards will be Red and Black with a big G for Georgia.
