SC Cornhole Games scores big with me!

by Lori Wiszus

Our son was having a birthday bash for his 24th and we decided to have a Cornhole tournament. We had one complete set of boards and bags already but decided to work on getting another. Since my husband and son built the first set, they got started on the second. Needing the cornhole bags by Saturday, I contacted three businesses on the Monday before and SC Cornhole Games was the only business that guaranteeed me they would ship the same day! I was extremely thankful to the customer service person who helped me on the phone who was very helpful. I had my cornhole bags in record time and the cornhole tournament was a great success, not to mention the super quality and durability of the cornhole bags to go along with our homemade cornhole boards. Thanks again SC Cornhole Bags for coming through for me!

Taking the easy way out !

I am 69 years young and enjoy making things like a Cornhole game for me and my Grands who are coming to Savannah, GA from Edmonton Alberta Canada on the 10th of August.

So I got a set of plans and even went to Home Depot and bought the plywood, 2x4's etc to make the game. When I got home I checked the website and they offered free shipping. I would have saved a few bucks by making them myself but what the heck, time is worth something! So I ordered the painted 2'x 4' game boards and went fishing after I took the lumber back for a refund from HD.

I entered my order via the Internet late on Wednesday 7/22/2009 (after 3PM) so the product must have shipped on Thursday 7/23/09. I was napping in my chair on Monday 7/27/09 late in the afternoon when a bump awakened me from out on the porch. It was the Cornhole Game being delivered by the FedEx Ground truck. (Watch these guys as they say they use UPS but they will do anything to get it there fast) That took three business days to get to the Sunny South!

My wife flew to Canada to ride back with the daughter and one Grand along with the Grand Horse in a trailer. They are moving to Singapore so we get to keep the old grey mare. But that's another story.

I have been practicing my lob techniques while waiting on this bunch to arrive. More Grands live in Tampa, FL and in Duluth, GA so I will invite them to come play the game. I have great plans to decorate the boards with decals of my Alma Mater Georgia Tech and will send these pictures in once that project is complete. These boards are made out of 1/2" plywood and 2x4 side supports. They are very sturdy and do not bounce an ounce when the bag lands on it which is the way it is supposed to be. The Bags are high quality, heavy material and are the proper size. Just Perfect!

It was well worth the little extra money to have someone assemble and paint the boards. I would have gotten them even if I would have had to pay the small freight charge. This is an excellent family game and I look forward to playing it with my kids and their kids.

SC CORNOLE IS SPECTACULAR!

I ordered my Cornhole set and got it within 2 days!

Yes, I could have spent less money and built my own, but for the price of wood + labor and frustration that it would have been, paying $100 for a perfect set of regulation Cornhole boards and bags was beyond worth it!

SC Cornhole is a very reliable and great company to deal with!

Simple Fun!

Before this spring season I had never heard of Cornhole. My oldest son took me out for a bite to eat for Mother's Day and prior to dinner we stopped and a sporting goods store for cleats for his upcoming softball season.

On the counter when he was paying, were 'Cornhole Bags'. So I asked the fellow behind the counter what Cornhole was, and he looked at me like "Are you kidding?" like I was obviously someone that didn't get out much. :) I'm sure my son was rolling his eyes too. So he explained the game a little to me and I said "Is it a drinking game?" They all laughed at this point and said that they were usually drinking when they played, but no, it was not a drinking game.

Well, since then, we have gone to a couple of outdoor events and guess what game was at each one?! Yes - Cornhole! And all my kids have enjoyed playing it, especially our youngest. So, with a family outing at our place coming up it was inevitable that we needed to have a Cornhole game there! :)

I was thrilled to find the all-weather boards which I thought would also be lighter to carry. Ordering was simple, and shipping was immediate. My son was sooooo excited when it came! It was a surprise for him and he has been out there 'practicing' ever since. :)

Such a simple game can bring so much fun! :)
