 learning the game through love

The first time I played cornhole was this year at a memorial day cookout at a friend's house. Now, I'm not very good, but understood the rules because of playinng washers as a kid. The guy I was playing with was giving me tips and hints of how to throw the bags, best way to stand, etc. Now, we are dating and both have our own cornhole sets and play about every weekend!

Tailgating at a football game some guys came up and wanted to challenge us to a game of cornhole. We did not know what they were talking about. They showed us the game and we thought it was great.
We take a set of boards when we go on vacation to Door County, WI every year and have our own little tournament.

We now host a cornhole tournament at our Community festival over the 4th of July holiday. This will be our 2nd year.

Its a game that every one can play. Sure, some play better than others but the tournament is a great time and every one enjoys it.

When we went to check on our boards this year we found a few missing. I discovered the SC Cornhole site and saw their boards were approved by the ACA so we are going to be replacing our cornhole boards from them.

The game of cornhole is everywhere

We have a time share at the beach and two years ago they added the game of cornhole. My family and I immediately loved the game and spent countless hours during the week playing the game. Once we got home we started noticing that friends would have the game at picnics and there was alway a wait to play the game. Everyone who played loved it!

Since that time I have found that even some of cruise lines have the game. The Carnival Cruise ship I was on had the game on their decks. When I was on a cruise in May I noticed that even on the cruise you would have to wait to play the game. Once other people see you playing they wanted to play also.

Recently my youngest child graduated from high shool and we planned an outside party after the graduation. Someone brought the game at my request and once again the game was a hit with the guests from the youngest to the oldest person attending.

I just got the boxes for the game as a gift and can't wait to order the cornhole bags and start playing every day!
