The Amazing Cornhole Brothers!
Our cornhole boards turned out great! Thanks so much for the plans I received from your site. They made it much easier to build than I thought it was going to be! The plans were clear and concise..Exactly the way they should be! :)
We added a suitcase handle and some suitcase latches to hold them together when not in use..I also put a board across the middle on the inside to provide a safe storage place for the bags, when they are put together! As you can see I put a lot of work in the face of the boards!
I am happy with the whole project..Thanks again for all of your help!
Joe

VOLCOM Cornhole Boards

The cornhole board plans you provided were great. No problem at all following them.
I made a few adjustments on my cornhole set. Since my boards will be taking trips down the beach in a 4WD truck and setup for play on the beach I used salt treated 2x4s for the frame with a 1x6 as the back plate. My deck is a half inch finished board. I used construction glue and screws to join everything together. I also attached a 4" grip handle on the inside to help in loading them in and out of the truck. They are heavier then normal but they are strong and built to last. A few coats of paint and a custom logo hand painted and I was done.
I have a set of both of your cornhole bags - the corn filled and the all-weather bags. So I am ready for action. I purchased a plastic tool box to keep my bags in for easy storage. Cornhole is a great game for the whole family - the wives and children also love cornhole because it is much lighter to toss then horseshoes.

The cornhole game boards we made turned out great. Did a couple of things different but it all turned out good. Made our own cornhole beanbags too.

Build Your Own Boards

I have a suggestion for your "build your own Cornhole board" plans. I think you should mention in the beginning that if you don't want to put a permanent back on the boards you don't have to cut one of the pieces of plywood into 4 equal parts. Other that that the plans were good.
Thanks,
Wayne Ducote
